Chapter 9

“Where am I?” Bulma asked herself as she found herself in a room.  She hopped out of the bed and
Vegeta immediately entered her mind.

“Wish me back with the Dragon Balls, okay?” Vegeta said in her mind.

“Don’t worry Vegeta, I’ll wish you back.  Let’s see, I know where the other five are but what
about the other two?” Bulma thought.  At that moment, the door slid open and Krillen was there.

“Hi Bulma.  It’s good to see you awake,” he greeted.

“Hey Krillen, did you find any Dragon Balls?” Bulma blurted out.

“Yeah, we found all seven of them.”

“Where are they?” she demanded as she ran to him and gripped his shirt’s collar.

“They’re gone now, we’ve used all three wishes.  Let me see, we’ve wished our friends back to
life, wished Piccolo here, and wished the people back to life that Freeza killed here on Namek.”
Krillen answered.  “And guess what?  Gokou went Super Saiyan and defeated...”

“What?!!!” Bulma exploded and ran out of the room.

“...Freeza,” Krillen finished as the door closed.

Bulma ran as far away as she could from the ship.  She found a tall tree and sat under it.  She
curled herself into a tight ball and began to cry.  “Great!  What am I going to do now?  The
Dragon Balls are gone and I’ll never get to wish Vegeta back to life again.  I find a man and when
I find out he loves me, he dies.  What did I do to deserve this?” Bulma sobbed.

A gentle breeze blew against her and felt something familiar.  She wiped her tears and turned
around.  She saw Vegeta standing from a distance, smirking at her.  “Vegeta...” she whispered
and got up.  She ran to him with her hands open and Vegeta also ran to her.  When they were like
five feet away from each other, Bulma jumped to Vegeta and he caught her waist.  Vegeta lifted
Bulma in the air and spun her around.  Both were laughing.

“I missed you so much,” Bulma sniffed and hugged Vegeta as he putted her down.

“I missed you too,” Vegeta whispered, hugging her back.

“How did you come back to life?” Bulma asked with tears of joy starting to form in her eyes.

“I don’t know,” Vegeta answered.

“Of course!  Krillen said they wished the people back to life that Freeza killed and Vegeta got
killed by Freeza,” Bulma thought.

“It doesn’t matter, we’re together now,” Vegeta said, wiping her tears away.

“Don’t you leave me again,” Bulma said, snuggling against his chest.

“I won’t.”

“Promise?”

“Promise,” Vegeta smirked and cupped her chin.  He slowly slanted his face to hers, they kissed
for the first time  (whoo-hoo!   whistle).  Both poured their passion and spirit into that kiss.

“Will you come to Earth with me?” Bulma asked as she broke the kiss.

“That depends if your friends will accept me,” Vegeta answered.

“Don’t worry, they will.  Come on let’s go,” Bulma said as she wrapped Vegeta’s neck with her
arms.  Vegeta scooped her up and blasted to the sky, heading to Gokou’s ship.
