Chapter 4
“I’m starving,” Trunks whined to
himself while walking around the forest, trying to get back from the
cabin. “I wonder what that thing was? How come it scared that
snake easily?” Trunks asked himself. “Oh goody!” he exclaimed
when he saw a berry patch. He ran to it and began to pick
its fruits and gobbled them up. “Yuuum! These are great!”
he mumbled for his mouth was full of berries.
Trunks then heard
a growl. He turned his head around slowly and saw it was a
bear. “Waaaahhhh! A BEAR!” he screamed. “This is definitely
not my day,” he thought nervously.
The bear growled at him again,
as if it was saying “Why’d you eat my berry patch?! With that you
shall pay!” The bear stood up on two feet to look taller and to
intimidate Trunks more. It raised its left paw to strike
Trunks.
“This is it!” Trunks whimpered as he closed his eyes,
expecting death. Suddenly the bear growled in pain. “What
the?” he asked himself, opening his eyes. He saw there was a long
black needle like object (poison sting) stuck on the bear’s
shoulder. Trunks turned his head to the left and saw a huge,
purple cobra. “It’s you,” Trunks said to the cobra and it nodded,
saying “yes.”
The bear pulled the needle like object from its
shoulder, with blood dripping from the object and from its
shoulder. The bear went on all fours and charged at the
cobra.
“Charbocka!” the cobra hissed and whipped its tail on the
bear, knocking it over. The bear fell on the ground and got up
again. The bear galloped on all fours and tackled the cobra.
It stood up and raised its right paw to slash the cobra.
“Come
on get up!” Trunks cheered at the cobra from the bushes. The bear
striked its paw at on the cobra’s hood.
“Chaarrr...” the cobra
groaned.
“Noooo!” Trunks screeched. He picked up a rock and
threw it at the bear. “Take that you big hair ball!” he cried and
the bear turned to him. “Uh oh!” The bear was about to walk
over to Trunks but it couldn’t move its right leg, the cobra’s tail was
coiled around it.
“Chaaarrrrr!” the cobra hissed angrily and shot
acid on the bear’s face. The bear growled in pain and collapsed
on the ground with its face melted.
“Are you all right?” Trunks
asked the cobra as he raced over to it. He stared at the cobra’s
eyes and the cobra stared back and it collapsed on the ground.
“Oh,” Trunks gasped as he saw the bear’s claw marks on the cobra’s
hood. He bent over and putted his hand on its nose to see if
it was still breathing. “It’s okay. It just fainted,”
Trunks sighed happily.

“Trunks! Trunks!
Truuunnnkkksss!” Vegeta yelled while flying above the forest with
Bulma following him on a hover craft. Vegeta flew to Bulma.
“You better get some help. We’ll find Trunks faster that way,” he
suggested. Bulma nodded and flew away to get some
help.

“Chaaarrrrr...” the cobra groaned as it opened its
eyes and saw Trunks staring at him curiously.
“You better keep your
head down. That was quite a fight you had with the bear and
thanks,” Trunks giggled. The cobra kept its head down as if it
understood Trunks. “This is no ordinary cobra, it can shoot acid
from its mouth,” Trunks thought while watching the snake coil itself.
“Don’t move your head too much or you’ll shake off the healing leaves
I putted on your hood,” Trunks said. “Those leaves will heal your
wounds and here, have some birds’ eggs. I know you snakes love
these. I got these from that tree,” Trunks said happily, handing the
eggs to the cobra.
The snake opened its mouth and swallowed the
eggs whole, one by one. “What is your name?” Trunks asked
curiously.
“Charbocka,” the cobra hissed.
“Charbocka?
Is that all you can say?” The cobra nodded. “Well, I’ll just
call you Arbok for short. Is that okay with you?” Trunks
asked.
“Char,” the cobra nodded.
“Okay then, Arbok. Do
you want to go with me?”
“Char,” was all Arbok said.
“Is
that a yes or no?” Arbok nodded saying “yes.”
