Chapter 3
“I wonder what could’ve eaten my
sandwich?” Trunks asked himself.
“Chaaarrrbocka!”
Trunks
jumped in surprise and turned around. “What the?!!! What on
Earth is that?” he thought. “Whaaa! What is that?!” he cried
when he saw a big figure moving through the trees and then it started
to fade away. “Wait! Come back here!” Trunks cried at the
figure and he started to go after it. The figure was too fast for
Trunks, he never got to it. “Where am I?” he thought when he
stopped running. Trunks found himself deep in the forest. “Uh
oh. I think I’m kind of lost.” He spun around, thinking which
direction he came from. “Okay, Trunks don’t panic.”
Trunks was about to take a left turn from his position and then he
heard a hissing sound. “Aaaahhh! A... a... snake...
snake...” he stammered as he looked at the snake in front of him.
“Nice snakey, nice snakey,” he chuckled nervously, backing slowly from
the snake.
The snake coiled itself, as if it was preparing to
attack. It opened its mouth, showing its long fangs. Venom
trickled from its fangs as it showed them and hissed. The snake
jumped with its mouth opened, ready to bite Trunks.
“Waaahhh!”
Trunks cried and jumped away from his position, dodging the snake’s
attack.
The snake coiled itself again to prepare for another
attack.
“He he he he... Oh no...” Trunks
stammered.
The snake hissed and was about to attack Trunks but it
didn’t as it sensed another creature nearby. Its head turned left
and right to find out where the other creature was
hiding.
“Chaaarrbocka!”
With that, the snake uncoiled itself
and slithered away.
“What the heck just happened?” Trunks asked
himself. He sank on the ground and sighed.

“Oh,”
Bulma groaned as she woke up. She sat up on the bed and turned to
Vegeta, who was still sleeping. “Just look at him. He looks
so peaceful when he’s sleeping,” Bulma giggled in her mentally.
“Oh I better wake him up now,” she thought. “Vegeta wake up.
Wake up honey!” Bulma said, shaking her husband but Vegeta didn’t wake
up. Bulma pinched his cheek and finally woke him
up.
“Oh. Why did you wake me up?” he groaned.
“It’s
eight in the morning. Come on, let’s go,” Bulma said, getting up
from bed and changing her clothes. Vegeta also got up and changed
from his boxers. Bulma headed straight to the kitchen to cook
breakfast. Vegeta headed to Trunks’ room to see if he’s still
sleeping.
“Huh? Trunks is not here?” he gasped when he saw
Trunks wasn’t in his room and went to the kitchen. “Trunks is not
in his room. Have you seen him?” Vegeta asked Bulma as he entered
the kitchen.
“No, check the lake. Maybe he’s there working
on his sand castle,” Bulma answered while cooking beacon and
eggs. Vegeta went outside to check on Trunks but he wasn’t there
either.
“Trunks where are you?” he yelled, his voice echoing
through the lake. “Bulma, he’s not outside,” he said as he went
back to the cabin.
“What? He’s not outside? Where could
he be then?” Bulma asked doubtly while preparing the table and putting
their breakfast on it.
“I think I better fly outside to find him,”
Vegeta said worriedly.
“Let’s eat first. And then we’ll look
for him, together,” Bulma suggested as she sat down and began to eat,
Vegeta joined her.
