Chapter 2
“Are we there yet?” Trunks whined
in the car.
“Just ten more minutes Trunks,” Bulma told him, who’s
driving the car.
“We’ve been in this traffic jam for thirty
minutes,” Vegeta growled.
“This traffic is not my fault. Why
won’t you go out there and do something about huh?” Bulma said
sarcastically.
“That’s not a bad idea,” Vegeta chuckled.
Vegeta stepped out of the car and jumped on the car’s roof.
“Listen, puny Earthlings!” he called out to the people in the
highway.
“Go to hell hair boy!” a man next to him in a car
insulted.
“You better clear the way or else!” Vegeta
yelled.
“Get bent shortie!” the man insulted again.
“Take
this!” Vegeta growled as he fired at the man’s car and it went boom.
“That will happen to you, all of you if you don’t clear the way for
us!” he yelled at everyone in the highway.
All of the vehicles in
the highway made room for Vegeta’s car so they can pass through
when they saw him blow up the car beside them.
“That didn’t take
very long,” Vegeta chuckled as he went back inside.
“I’m
impressed. Now buckle up because here we go!” Bulma said happily as
they drove right past everyone in the highway.
It only took
another five minutes until Vegeta, Bulma, and Trunks reached the
beach. Trunks got out of the car as it
stopped.
“Wheee! We’re here! I’m going to build a sand
castle!” Trunks cried happily as he ran. “Oh!” he groaned as he
saw that they were on a lake.
“What’s wrong?” Vegeta asked
him.
“I wanted to go to the sea not the lake,” Trunks
whined.
“A beach is a beach Trunks. Now stop whining and help
me unpack, you too Vegeta,” Bulma nagged at them.
“But I want to
collect sea shells,” Trunks whined again.
“Just listen to your
Mama,” Vegeta told him and walked back to the car.
When all of
their stuff were unpacked, Trunks ran to the lake.
“Wow,” he
said.
“Now, Trunks, I want you to change into your swimming shorts
before you swim. And Trunks?” Bulma said to him.
“What is
it Mama?” Trunks asked curiously.
“See the forest across from
here? Well, I don’t want you to go there alone,” Bulma said as
she knelt beside him and pointed the forest to him, across the
lake.
“Okay.”
“Now change into your swimming shorts and you
can do whatever you want,” Bulma said and she walked back to their
cabin.
“I’m going to be build a sand castle!” Trunks cried
happily. He was about to walk back to the cabin but saw something
moving, something big in the forests across from their cabin. “Huh?
what could that be?” he asked himself. “I bet it’s just a bear,”
he thought and went back to the cabin.
***
It was almost
nightfall and Vegeta and family were outside. Vegeta was sparring
with himself, Trunks was building his sand castle, and Bulma was
swimming around the lake.
“There it’s almost done!” Trunks
giggled. “Look Mama! Look at my sand castle,” he cried
to Bulma.
“Wow, maybe you’ll be an architect someday. Your
sand castle really looks great,” Bulma complimented and dove down the
lake.
“An architect, humph, no son of my mine is going to be an
architect,” Vegeta growled to himself when heard what Bulma told
Trunks.
“I think I’ll build a moat too,” Trunks said as he turned
to Bulma, but she hasn’t surfaced yet. “Oh well, I’ll build one
anyway. Huh?” Trunks looked puzzled. He saw two eyes,
glowing in BLUE from the darkening forest. “I better know what
that things is,” Trunks growled. “Papa,” Trunks called to
Vegeta.
“Yes?”
“May I eat dinner now?”
“Go
ahead.” With that, Trunks went back to their cabin.
“That was
good,” Bulma gasped as she finally surfaced. She whipped her hair
around the air to remove the water.
“Wow,” Vegeta thought.
Bulma looked liked a beautiful mermaid when she surfaced and whipped
her hair around. Vegeta walked over to the shore and took off his
shirt and sandals but left his shorts on. “May I join in?” he
purred.
“Sure,” Bulma said with a smile. Vegeta swam over to
her.
“Are you having a great time?” Vegeta
asked.
“Yeah. This is fun,” Bulma giggled as she began to
splash water at Vegeta.
“Hey! I didn’t ask for this,” he
growled but Bulma kept splashing at him. “You asked for it,”
he said playfully and splashed back.
“And they said I was
immature,” Trunks snorted from the cabin as he was watching his
parents splash water at each other.
“I give up,” Bulma panted as
she let Vegeta splash more water at her.
“Ha! I win,” Vegeta
said in his almighty voice.
“Brrrr. It’s getting cold
now. Come on, let’s go back inside,” Bulma suggested.
“No, my
fun is just beginning,” Vegeta purred.
“Vegeta, I’m going to catch
a cold.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll keep you warm,” he said and hugged
her.
“My you’re warm,” Bulma purred back and made lazy circles on
his chest with her hands. With that, Vegeta cupped her chin and
kissed her.
“Eeeewww. Mama and Papa are going to catch
cooties,” Trunks said disgustingly. “Huh? It’s those BLUE
eyes again,” Trunks thought. Trunks sneaked out of the cabin and
went around the lake. Vegeta and Bulma didn’t notice him for they
were still kissing. Trunks reached the forest and putted a
sandwich under a tree. “There, let’s see if it will be gone
tomorrow,” Trunks thought and went back to the cabin.
“Where
were you?” Vegeta asked when Trunks entered the cabin.
“I, uh, just
saw a squirrel and tried to capture it,” he answered
nervously.
“Don’t do that again, you might get lost,” Bulma
said.
“I won’t.”
“Did you eat Trunks?” Bulma
asked.
“Yeah, I did.”
“Go to bed then while we eat supper,”
Bulma nagged.
“Yes, Mama and goodnight, you too Papa,” he yawned
and went to his room.
***
When morning came, Trunks got up
from bed and was planning to sneak out. He checked Vegeta’s and
Bulma’s room to see if they were still asleep. “Good,” Trunks
whispered when he saw Bulma all curled around Vegeta on the bed, both
still sleeping. Trunks quickly got out of the cabin and went
around the lake to get to the forests. He looked for the sandwich he
left and saw it was gone.
