Chapter 4
Vegeta was sitting on top of a hill, looking at the clear, blue sky. The sky above reminded him of
Bulma’s beautiful eyes and hair. He sighed heavily to himself and putted his hand on his aching
heart. Seeing that plane fly away from the airport felt like his heart was stabbed by a knife. He
sighed again and got up to fly away but then, he heard a voice calling him. He turned around
quickly, expecting it to be Bulma, but no, it was just his fellow Saiyan, Gokou or Kakarott as he
would call him. Gokou landed on the hill and waved at his fellow Saiyan warrior.
“Hi Vegeta, how are you today? Do you want to go back to the house and have lunch with me?”
he asked with a smile.
“No, but I’ll go with you anyway,” Vegeta answered sadly and they took to the air.
As soon as they got to the house, Gokou immediately ran to the kitchen while Vegeta just jumped
to a tree and sat down on a branch.
“Isn’t Vegeta going to eat?” Gohan asked after swallowing his food.
“I don’t know, he hasn’t eaten since Bulma left yesterday,” Gokou replied after taking a bite out
of his fried chicken wing.
“I’m worried about him, he might get sick or something,” Chi chi said while watching Vegeta
from a window.
“I know, I beat him easily when we sparred yesterday,” Gokou added.
“We better do something,” Gohan suggested.
“I know, Chi chi, why won’t you talk to him about Bulma?” Gokou told his wife.
“What?!!! Me?!!! I maybe worried about him but I’m still scared of him!!!” Chi chi exploded.
“Please Chi chi?” the Saiyan warrior begged with a puppy face.
“Ohhh!!! All right! I’ll try my best,” Chi chi groaned and went outside.

Meanwhile:
Bulma was sitting on a bench at the lobby, waiting for her grandma to pick her up. She then got
up and stretched her arms and legs, for they were sore from the long plane ride.
“Bulma! Bulma!” a voice called out.
Bulma looked around and found an old woman waving at her. “Grandma? Grandma!” she
exclaimed and ran to her.
“Hello child,” her grandma greeted and hugged her. Her grandma looked exactly like her mother
except her hair was white and she had a few wrinkles on her face.
“Hi granny,” Bulma greeted back.
“How are you dear?”
“I’m fine.”
“Go get your luggage so we can head home, you must be tired dear,” Jean suggested.
“Okay,” Bulma smiled and ran to the bench to pick up her luggage. The two walked out of the
airport and looked for a taxi.
“We don’t need a taxi grandma, I have a capsule car,” Bulma said and reached for her pocket.
She took out a capsule and threw it on the ground, it turned into a car. “Just tell me the
directions to your house okay?” The two putted the luggage in the compartment and went in the
car.
It only took Bulma and Jean ten minutes to get to the house. Bulma stepped out of the car and
took a deep breath. “Wow, the air is so fresh here and the place still looks great. I haven’t been
here for years and I’ve forgotten how beautiful the country looked like,” Bulma told her grandma.
“Yes dear. Now let’s go inside and eat,” Jean suggested. Bulma opened the compartment at the
back of the car and took her luggage. She then minimized it back to a capsule and went inside the
house.
“You can rest in the living room and watch TV while I make us some lunch,” Jean said.
“Uh grandma?”
“Yes dear?”
“Could we have lunch outside, near the lake?”
“Sure, I feel like swimming today,” Jean smiled and went to the kitchen.
“Thanks granny!” Bulma sighed to herself and looked at the ceiling. “Gee, I wonder how Vegeta
is doing,” she thought and closed her eyes.

“Hey Vegeta,” Chi chi greeted nervously at the Saiyan Prince. Vegeta remained silent. “Uh, is
something bothering you?”
“Is something bothering me?!!! Can’t you figure that one out by yourself?!!!” Vegeta snarled.
“Vegeta, I know how you feel about Bulma and I could help you.”
“Help me? How?”
“I know where Bulma is.”
“Huh? Where is she? Tell me.”
“Bulma told me not to tell you but this time, I’ll make an exception. Come inside and I’ll give
you her address.” Vegeta got off the tree and went back inside with Chi chi.
