Chapter 3

Bulma was sitting on a bench at the airport terminal, waiting for her plane. She sighed heavily
and reached for her pocket. She took out a locket, and inside it was a picture of her and Vegeta.
She sighed again and touched Vegeta’s face on the picture with her finger.

“...so, this is it, it’s over and I didn’t even get to say good bye. Where was he this morning?
Ohhh, I can’t believe I’m really not going to see Vegeta again. I’ll never see, talk, or even annoy
him anymore. I wish I can see him one more time to say good bye. But then again, if I he was
here to say good bye, I’ll never be able to let him go, I just love him so much,” Bulma whispered
to herself and putted the locket back to her pocket.

“Ahem.” Bulma looked up and found Vegeta smirking at her.

“Vegeta, I was wondering where you were,” Bulma said and got up to hug him.

“I heard what you and your father talked about.”

“Really?”

“Yeah and I left.”

“Uh, where would you be staying now?”

“I’m going to live at Kakarott’s. Uh, look... you don’t have to do this, you can stay with me.
We’ll be together, forever and no one can stop us,” Vegeta said, holding both of Bulma’s hands.

“What do you mean? Even if I go with you, where are we going to stay?”

“It doesn’t matter for now.”

“Uh, I’m sorry Vegeta, I can’t go with you. I don’t want to disobey my parents.”

“You can’t go away, I need you. I love you more than anything, more than power, more than
being Super Saiyan. I can’t live without you.” Bulma loved the words she was hearing, she
didn’t expect it to come out of Vegeta. Tears began to form in Bulma’s eyes as Vegeta putted his
arm on her back, bringing her closer to him for another hug. She rested her head on his muscular
chest and then look at the prince’s eyes.

“I’m sorry Vegeta, I can’t. I’m just so confused... I don’t know if I should listen to you or my
parents...” she sobbed. Vegeta wiped her tears away and cupped her chin, slowly slanting his face
to hers for a kiss. Bulma kissed him back, not caring if the other people at the terminal were
staring at them. Vegeta’s tongue entered her mouth to dance with hers and she responded. A
single tear ran down Bulma’s cheek as she broke their kiss, which they held for minutes.

“Attention all passengers of flight 957, your plane has arrived,” the flight attendant announced.

“I guess this is good bye Vegeta,” Bulma whispered to her prince.

“No you can’t leave me. Bulma, you can come and go with me, you won’t regret it.”

“I’m sorry, I’m still confused, I need to sort myself out. Good bye Vegeta, I’ll never forget you,”
she sniffed and kissed him on the cheek. Bulma turned to the bench and picked up her bag.
“Good bye,” she said again with tears in her eyes and headed to a hall which leads to the plane.

“Good bye,” Vegeta replied silently.
