Chapter 26
The group were on top of a hill, the same hill where they rested before attacking the army’s base.
They were planning how to infiltrate it since they know the army is on the alert.
“How about we let Brass in and then he shuts off their power so they won’t have any when we
attack?” Chunli suggested.
“Me? Go in there alone? Forget it,” Brass snorted.
“Why not? You have the stealth and cunning to get in there. Why are you afraid all of a
sudden?” Cloud said.
“I’m not going in, what if that android was there?”
“Think about your clan,” Vincent taunted.
“You just had to use them didn’t you?!!! Ugh, okay I’m going in...”
“Way to go kid!” Rick cheered and slapped him on the shoulder.
“Don’t push your luck! I won’t hesitate to kill you for this,” the ninja snarled. Brass called up
Vaporeon and went down the hill.
“He might need some help, I’m going after him,” Vegeta told everyone and flew down the hill.
Brass was already inside the base, walking around to find where the power room is. “Hmm, I
wonder where that blasted room is?” he asked himself. “A-ha! They would have it down in the
basement,” he thought. He ran to the nearest elevator with Vaporeon beside him and pushed the
button that takes him down to the basement.
The elevator door opened and Brass found himself in a room full of tubes but right in the middle
was a big generator. “I wonder what all these tubes are for?” he thought, walking to the
generator. He turned to the control panel and began to push the buttons, trying to shut it off.
“Damn, how do you turn this thing off?!!” he cursed himself. “Gaah, I’ll just blow it up.”
“Not so fast!” a voice called out from the entrance.
The Kogan Ninja turned around and found a tall, green being. “What are you?” he demanded.
“I am you, well, partly,” the being chuckled.
“What? You mean, you’re that android that was created with our cells?”
“Yup, I’m Cell and my job is to eliminate you and your comrades.”
“I have a strange feeling about this one...” Brass told himself mentally, putting his gun arm on his
back, powering it up.
“Once you and your comrades are out of the way, taking over the world would be like taking
candy from a baby,” Cell said sinisterly.
“Take over the world this!” the ninja growled as he fired an ice beam from his charged gun arm.
Cell just stepped aside, dodging the attack and watched the wall behind him freeze. “You’ll never
beat me, I’m at least twenty times stronger than you.” His comment only made Brass furious and
he charged at him with an amazing speed. Cell didn’t see his opponent coming and a punch
landed on his face, sending him flying across the room. “That was one strong punch...” he
whispered to himself as he fell on the floor. The android got up and looked for his opponent.
“Surprise!” Brass cried as he appeared behind him and threw a punch but Cell quickly turned
around and caught his fist with his hand. He then punched Brass continuously on the stomach
with his free hand.
“Enough torture, time to finish you off!” Cell cackled as he raised his hand in the air, forming a
green sphere of energy. “Time to die!” He was about to bring his hand down but Vaporeon
pounced on him, knocking him down. Brass sank on the floor and watched Vaporeon freeze Cell
with an ice beam. As the android was frozen into a block of ice, the water canine began to glow
in yellow.
“Vaporeon, you’re not doing explosion attack are you?” Brass asked between pants. Vaporeon
did not reply. Brass got up with the help of his staff and tried to get to Vaporeon but he fell on
the floor half way before he can reach him. He tried to get up again and he did, except someone
helped him up. He turned around and saw Vegeta.
“Hey, what’s your pal doing?” the Saiyan prince asked.
“He’s going to self-destruct... I must stop him...”
“We better go then.”
“No... I won’t leave Vaporeon like that...”
“Look, if he’s going to sacrifice himself, honour it.” Vegeta fired on the ceiling and created a
huge hole. He took Brass’ arm and began to levitate.

“BOOM!” The whole base exploded and it knocked down Chunli and the others who were
waiting outside for Vegeta and Brass.
“Oh shit! What was that?!!!” Cloud exclaimed.
“I hope Vegeta and Brass are okay...” Chunli sighed.
“Hey everybody!” Vegeta said as he landed behind them with Brass.
“You’re okay!” Chunli laughed.
“What happened back there?” Dennis asked worriedly.
“It doesn’t matter...” Brass answered sadly and ran away.
“Brass! Wait! Where are you going?!!” Chunli called out and went after him with the others.

The Kogan Ninja was standing on a lake shore, looking at the clear, blue water. It reminded
him of Vaporeon. “Now... I’m really all alone...” he sighed to himself.
“So here you are. We heard from Vegeta about Vaporeon,” Chunli broke in as she arrived with
the others.
“Come on kid, let’s go,” Cloud said.
“Go where? This job is over. Vaporeon blew up and took everyone with him... that crazy
android, those soldiers, and Dr. Gero!!!” Brass yelled.
“Dr. Gero wasn’t there. I didn’t feel his energy while I was there,” Vegeta told him. “He’s
probably somewhere else.”
“Yeah, so let’s go,” Chunli smiled.
“Okay...” Brass sighed. The others then turned around and began to walk. “AAAAAHHHH!!!”
he screeched. Everyone quickly turned around and found Brass laying on the ground with a small
hole through his stomach.
“Who did this?!!!” Vegeta demanded. Cell then appeared above with a smirk on his face.
