Chapter 22
“Whoa, this base is pretty big for a sub base,” Rick gasped.
“Come on, let’s go,” Vegeta said.
“What?!! We’ve been walking all day! Let’s rest for half an hour,” Chunli exploded.
“Fine, accursed weak human,” he grumbled and walked away. Vegeta sat under a tree and took
out his family picture. “I hope you’re all right,” he told Bulma and Trunks on the picture and
putted it back in his pocket.
“Who are you talking to?” Brass asked, appearing beside him with Vaporeon. Vegeta turned to
him and putted a scowl on his face.
“Are you spying on me?!!!”
“Uh no, I just came to talk.”
“Talk about what?”
“Your attacks, your power. You’re the strongest fighter I’ve ever seen.”
“You’re pretty good too but you have one weakness; you don’t take hits pretty well. Why is
that?”
“That’s because I spent so much time increasing my speed and trying to be a Psydroflare that I
didn’t have any time to spend some training on withstanding attacks.”
“What is a Psydro... whatever?”
“A Psydroflare is a ninja that can use the techniques of psychic, water, and fire. There were only
a few Psydroflares in our clan and I’m the only one left. Hmm, how come you take hits with no
problem, what kind of training did you do?”
“Humph, I just fire beams at myself. It maybe painful for the first time but you’ll get used to it.”
“That’s tough.”
“I know. I got hospitalized more than fifty times by doing that but look, my training has paid
off.”
The two just kept talking until Chunli announced it was time to go. “Okay everbody, it’s time to
kick some ass!” Everybody gathered and were planning a strategy.
“We need a plan. Any ideas?” Dennis asked.
“We don’t need a plan. All we have to do is sneak in there and what’s so hard about that?” Rick
snorted.
“Yeah Dennis, you’re being too strategic,” Cloud added and gave Dennis a playful punch on the
shoulder.
“He’s right,” Vincent chuckled.
“Fine, whatever, let’s go,” Dennis sighed. The gang went down the hill slowly and silently. They
hid behind some bushes when they got down, looking for any soldiers on duty. They didn’t find
any though. They ran to the gate and entered quietly.
“No guards, it’s clear,” Cloud said and ran to the building with the others following him. They
entered the building and found no one was inside.
“GYA HA HA HA HAAA!”
“What was that?” Chunli panicked.
“It came from that hall!” Dennis cried. They turned to a hall to their left and found a dark
laboratory.
“So, you’re all here,” a voice said. The voice stepped out of the dark laboratory, rendering
himself, it was Dr. Gero.
“It’s you!” they all gasped.
“Yes it’s me. Humph, android #15 failed on eliminating you but it doesn’t matter.”
“What is wrong with you? First you wanted us alive, now you want us dead? Would you make
up your mind?” Cloud said.
“What did you want with us in the first place?” Chunli asked.
“Yeah, you kidnapped my family just to get me!! What did you want with me?!!!” Vegeta
demanded.
“Ahhh, you have curiousity, I think you’re all cut out to be scientists. Humph, very well, I’ll
explain. I wanted each everyone of you because I want your cells, your DNA. I needed the cells
of the world’s finest heroes to combine them and create the most powerful android ever. I
obtained your cells by taking samples of your hair when you were captured back at the main base.
Now that I obtained your cells and with my new android almost complete, you’re all useless.”
“What?!!! Just what are you up to this time?!!” Dennis snarled.
“I’ve built the androids to take over this world and the Makai too. Speaking of Makai, humph,
I’ve sent #16, #17, #18 to destroy everything.”
“Well guess again, we’ll go there and stop them!” Vincent scoffed.
“Really? I’ve planted a bomb in each everyone of my creations. Go try and stop them and I’ll
activate the bombs and no more Makai.” Dr. Gero then took out a remote control.
“Arrr...” Dennis and Vincent growled.
“MWA HA HA HA HAAA! Just one push of this button and ka-boom!” Dr. Gero laughed
insanely. A gust of wind went passed him and found that the remote control on his hand was
gone.
“Yoink. Always pay attention when dealing with enemies,” Brass chuckled and smashed the
remote control with his hand.
“Arrr... Why you little... Oh it doesn’t matter. Once Cell is finished, you don’t stand a chance!
The world will be mine! MWA HA HA HA HAAA!” the scientist cackled and threw a smoke
bomb on the floor. When it cleared, they found Dr. Gero was gone.
“We have to go to Makai and stop those androids,” Dennis said worriedly. Dennis closed his eyes
and a portal appeared in front of him. “Come on, please, help my world.”
“Don’t worry, we will,” Cloud told him.
“Thank you.” Dennis jumped in the black portal and everyone followed.
