Chapter 10

The two moaned as they kissed each other.  Chunli could feel her body tingling and trembling.
Rick pulled her closer and putted his hands on her waist to support her.  “Do you want to
continue this back there?” Rick purred as he broke the kiss.

“Sure,” Chunli smirked and they headed back to the mansion.

The following day:

“Where are Rick and Chunli?” Dennis asked at everyone while eating breakfast.

“Humph, let’s just leave them here.  The sooner we get there, the better,” Vincent snorted.

“Uh...  I think I better check up on them,” Cloud said nervously and ran upstairs.  He went to
Rick’s room and peeked through the door.  He saw Chunli all curled around Rick.  “Man, does he
work fast or what?” Cloud thought.  Cloud closed the door slowly and began to knock.

“What is that?” Chunli asked groggily and sat up.

“I’ll go check it out,” Rick yawned and got up.  He putted on his robe since he was just dressed
on his boxers.  “Hey Cloud,” he greeted as he answered the door.

“We have to get going now,” Cloud said.

“Okay, I’ll be down there in a minute,” Rick replied.

“Are they awake yet?” Vincent asked coldly as he saw Cloud enter the dining room.

“Yeah, they’ll be down here in a minute,” Cloud answered.

“Hey guys, sorry to keep you waiting,” Rick called out from the end of the room, already dressed
in his blue costume.

“What did I tell you?  I told you they’ll be here in a minute, actually that was less than a minute,”
Cloud said smugly, Vincent just humphed.  Rick and Chunli ate their breakfasts and after that
ordeal, they headed to the Highwind.

“Just five more miles and we’re there,” Cloud announced.

“That reminds me, Interpol said that they have a scanning radar for ships.  We’ll get blasted to bits
before we even reach the base,” Chunli said.

“Then we’ll go by foot,” Vegeta suggested.

“Sounds logic,” Dennis agreed.

“It’s settled.  I’m landing the Highwind here,” Cloud said and started to press a bunch of buttons
on the control board to prepare for landing.

“Wow, it sure is quiet in this forest,” Chunli shuddered as she stepped out of the Highwind when
it landed.

“Better not let your guard down guys, who knows who or what roam around these forests,”
Dennis warned.

“Nothing to worry about, I don’t sense a ki for a mile,” Vegeta said.

“Humph, not all fighters posses ki,” Vincent snorted coldly.

“Vincent...” Dennis scolded and Vincent just humphed again.

“Well, all of us just keep watching for trouble,” Cloud suggested and they started to walk.

“Huh?” Dennis gasped as he heard a rustling noise while walking.

“What is it?” Cloud asked.

“Someone is here,” Dennis whispered, taking out his rose.

“Watch out!” Vincent cried.  Shurikens were heading straight at them from above like meteors
falling out of the sky.  All of them managed to jump away and avoid the shurikens in time.
Vincent and Cloud drew out their swords, Dennis turned his rose into a whip, Vegeta and Chunli
began to summon their ki, and Rick cocked his wrist mounted guns.

“There!” Dennis cried as he saw a whirl of black wind moving around the trees.

“They’re mine,” Vincent growled and jumped to the air and then disappeared out of nowhere.  A
minute passed and five ninjas dressed in black gi fell on the ground, dead.  “That didn’t take very
long,” Vincent chuckled sinisterly.

“I wonder why they would attack us?” Dennis asked himself, looking at the dead ninjas and then
noticed he was being left behind.  “Keep your senses open, there might be more,” Dennis said as
he caught up with the others.

They walked for hours and then they came across a cliff.  They looked down below and saw what
they have all been looking for, the Red Ribbon Army’s main base.
